A little about myself :
I'm an Engineer with a Electrical Engineering and Computer Science background.
Currently I'm taking classes to support a career in Web Development and have recently
started a new job as a PHP/MySQL Web Application Developer. First up - more training !
Some of the things I like to do outside of work:
- Hockey
- I started playing hockey in my late 30's as a forward. By the time I was 40 I discovered that playing goalie was way more fun than playing forward.
- Skiing
- Due to the enthusiasm of a few college friends, I learned to downhill ski and enjoy the sport. I also have been learning to slalom waterski and have been trying to make it through the course.
- Public Speaking
- I've been a member of Toastmasters International on and off for several years now. Recently re-joined the Burlington club which meets twice a month.
