Academic Honesty:
CCV has a commitment to honesty and excellence in academic work and expects the same from all students. Academic dishonesty, or cheating, can occur whenever you present -as your own work- something that you did not do. You can also be guilty of cheating if you help someone else cheat. Being unaware of what constitutes academic dishonesty (such as knowing what plagiarism is) does not absolve a student of the responsibility to be honest in his/her academic work. Academic dishonesty is taken very seriously and may lead to dismissal from the College.

How JilMac Grades
In the Fall & Spring we have 15 weeks, in the Summer we have 12 weeks - with the same amount of work.
Participating in Class = 1 point for Weekly Discussions - first week has 4 discussions and 1 Content Collection grade = 5 pts.
Plus for Fall & Spring the weeks 2-15 discussions of 14 weeks @ 1 point per week = 5 + 14 = 19 points
Plus for Summer the weeks 2 - 12 discussions of 12 weeks @ 1 point per week = 5 + 11 = 16 points
Completing Assignments
Fall & Spring -14 assignments where each assignment takes 3 examples from the Text @ 1pt each you add to your documents, your ideas. What example you started out with, what software application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. you used, what you changed, what you liked and would use again, and what you would change next time. All assignments will be put in your Content Collection and eventually your ePortfolio. The examples can be of your choosing, from that weeks reading assignment. = 42 points
Summer - 12 assignments were each assignments takes 4 examples from the Text @ 1 pt each = 4 x 11 = 44 points
